A Little About Me
Hello! My name is Maggie and welcome to Adapted Eats! Just to give you a little insight about me, I recently discovered how much I love to cook and want to share my recipes with anyone who wants to put a healthier spin on everyday dishes. Although I am really just a novice in the kitchen, I’m hoping that blogging about my kitchen adventures will help me grow my culinary skills.
I am a fitness enthusiast who loves to eat! Most of my diet consists of tons of healthy foods but I also have a bit of a sweet tooth. I love cookies, cakes, ice cream, chocolate, and pretty much everything dessert related. I’m a firm believer in the 80/20 rule. Most of the time I lean towards the healthier options but like to give myself the freedom to indulge without feeling any guilt.
Like most parents, I am always on the go. If it’s not one thing it’s another and home life is never-ending. Most of my recipes are quick and simple to prepare, family friendly, and healthy. I often consider myself the Rachel Ray of my kitchen. I make simple, easy to throw together dishes that are still on the healthy side. I do have my occasional ‘made from scratch moments’ but I’m more of a 30 minute chef in my kitchen.
