I remember the very first time I tried spaghetti squash. I had gone to visit a friend of mine who has always been into eating healthy and exercising. We had planned on spending the day together and then meeting her husband back at their home for dinner. She’s a great cook and I was super excited for whatever it was that she was making. When we got back to her house we started prepping dinner. She pulled out something I had never seen before so of course I asked her what this little yellow melon looking thing was. That’s when she told me that once baked we’d take a fork to it and it would be our “spaghetti.” Seriously, I was like there is absolutely no way that this is going to look anything like spaghetti. Well, obviously I was very wrong. Since that day I have absolutely loved spaghetti squash! How to cook spaghetti squash in the air fryer is a must read!

Different Methods
Now this happened many, many years ago. Twenty to be exact! Well, things have changed so much in the kitchen just in the last couple years that I find myself using my oven less and less. Anyone else feel me on this? With the invention of the instant pot, mini griddles, and the air fryer it’s really rare that I need to turn it on. I think I only use it when I’m making a huge batch of something and even then I try to figure out a way to use another method because I feel like these other kitchen appliances cook the food better. Not knocking my oven because I absolutely love baking but for certain things I’ve found better methods.

Anyway, if you’ve got an air fryer and haven’t cooked your spaghetti squash in it then it’s time to start! And, if you don’t have an air fryer, definitely put that on your wish list. It really is the most used kitchen appliance in the house and it’s so easy to use that it’s crazy. I recently upgraded my 3.2 quart air fryer to the 5.3 because we were using it so much that we definitely needed a larger one. I gave my Mom my old one and if she can use it then anyone can. She’s not the savviest when it comes to these types of appliances but she loves it just as much as I do now!

Alright, you ready for how easy this is to do?
