Vegan Apple Pie Waffles

These homemade Vegan Apple Pie Waffles are easy, delicious, and perfect for busy mornings if you’ve got them premade! They’re soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup AP flour

1 small apple, chopped into small pieces

1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

2 tbsp low sugar or SF pancake syrup

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of choice)

Instructions

  1. Combine all wet ingredients, mix well, and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Combine both wet and dry ingredients, mix until smooth, and then add the chopped apple bits.
  4. Spoon batter into preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
  5. Serve warm and add your favorite toppings

Notes

These can be kept in the freezer, just allow them to cool completely and store them in a ziplock bag. These can be warmed back up in the toaster oven, air fryer, or oven.
